Hi! I’m Anjali

M.Ed., CCC., Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Many adults carry the impact of childhood trauma, neglect, or emotional disconnection into their present lives. You may find yourself repeating old patterns, struggling to feel safe in relationships, or weighed down by memories that won’t let go. I specialize in deep trauma work using EMDR, inner child work, and attachment-based approaches, helping you process experiences that feel “stuck” in your body and mind so you can finally release them and move forward.

I provide a safe, compassionate, and culturally attuned space where you can explore your story at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we focus on healing the past while equipping you with tools to feel grounded, connected, and more in control of your life—so you can build the meaningful connections and sense of ease you’ve been longing for.

My Approach to Therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I work at your pace and create a space where you can feel safe, understood, and supported. I draw from several therapeutic modalities—including Attachment-Based Therapy, IFS, EMDR, and more—to help you make sense of your emotions, strengthen your relationships, and heal from past experiences.

  • Attachment-focused work explores how early relationships shaped your sense of safety, trust, and connection. This approach helps you develop healthier patterns in adulthood—whether that means feeling more secure in relationships, setting boundaries, or feeling less anxious or avoidant. It is particularly helpful for relationship struggles, low self-worth, and unresolved childhood wounds.

  • IFS helps you understand the different “parts” of you—like the inner child, the protector, or the part that feels anxious or not good enough. Rather than pushing these parts away, we work with them compassionately so they can let go of old burdens and function in healthier ways. This approach is especially helpful for trauma, self-criticism, emotional overwhelm, and feeling disconnected from yourself.

  • EMDR is a trauma therapy that helps your brain reprocess painful memories so they no longer feel overwhelming, triggering, or stuck. Instead of talking through every detail, EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping) to help your nervous system release the emotional intensity from past experiences. It can help with childhood trauma, PTSD, anxiety, dissociation, and long-standing patterns that haven't shifted with traditional talk therapy.

  • This approach focuses on building a sense of safety in your body so you can regulate emotions, respond instead of react, and feel more grounded. We slow things down, work at your pace, and use techniques that help your nervous system stabilize before processing deeper wounds. It is especially beneficial if you’ve felt overwhelmed in past therapy or have difficulty staying present.
